Which line is in / out flow? I'm hooking up a trans cooler and need to know the direction of flow. Looking where the lines enter the case, is the upper or lower one the outflow?

I cant ever remember,but the TCI website has a flow chart that tells you which is which...

What I did to mine was I also replaced all the lines with push lock fittings and hoses. I ran lines from my trans to the radiator, to the external cooler, to an external filter, and back to the trans. Push lock hose and fittings all around. Cost me about $150 but now I have zero leaks. I would recommend doing it.

Too late! I hooked everything up last night. I used compression fittings on the existing steel lines to convert it to the hoses. Hopefully I won't have leaks. If so, I'll address it later.

Curious, where did you get them and what's the name?
I took all my fittings into a place called Evco house of hose. They helped pull all the correct fittings. Make sure you get a hose that will handle it. Mine was rated at 400psi and I wanna say 400 degrees.
