OK, so I'm an idiot. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I pulled the lines off my tranny (700R4) and radiator without first figuring out which one went where!

I'm about to go out and re plumb the system and need to know which line goes where. This is on an 87 Burb with 350tbi, 700R4, NP208.

Does it go; top trans line to top cooler hole, and bottom to bottom or top tranny to bottom cooler?! auuuugh.

Or should I be asking which port on the tranny is the output and which is the return line?

Thanks,
Mike /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Thanks guys, went and finished it up!

Got the new cooler and filter installed as well.

Thanks for the input /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i can look on my 700r4 in the caprice and see, but might be hard to trace along oil pan, humm

hope how you got it now works for you

good luck

I'm gonna look under my Van before I fire it up and make sure it's the same way. I'm assuming a 4L60E will be the same as a 700R4.

I ran the top to top and bottom to bottom and added the aux. cooler and filter in the top line so I'm hoping that is the return line as I was told.

Either way it won't be hard to switch the lines at the tranny if I'm wrong. I just need to make sure it's right before I start it so no debris gets into the new tranny. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
