So I removed my ac condenser, flushed it out and currently using it as a trans cooler on my 91 700r4.. is there a specific amount of fluid (gpm) I can measure if I disconnect the output line and put it in an empty milk jug... Will that be a somewhat accurate measurement to see of the ac condenser is ok. I want to make sure its not restricting fluid flow, and its actually benificial...

first off thats a lot more cooling than you prob need.

if the tranny dosnt get up to temp thats almost as bad as over temp.

and you will fill a bucket real quick with the line off. and suck the tranny dry.

I plan on running an inline t-stat and a temp gauge.. I didn't plan on. Filling an entire gallon... Just about a quart or so to get an estimate... I just want to know if there's any way I can measure a flow test to get a ballpark, or do ii need to take it to a trans shop and have them test it?

Using an AC condensor as a trans cooler is a bad thing because of the freon that was in the condensor. You can NEVER get all of the freon out as it seeps into the pours of the material and once it gets hot will leach out and mix with the trans fluid and COULD cause a trans failure. Do people do it, yes they do but 700R4's aren't cheap to build one that will last and it's NOT something I would ever want to try to cheap out on.
