700R4 kickdown cable

A 700R4 does not have a kickdown cable. It has a Throttle Valve cable which performs a completely different function.
If you're switching from a 700R4 to a TH350, go to the junkyard and find a kickdown from another TH350.
If you're going the other way (350 to 700R4) get the correct TV cable and bracketry, read the following article, and do it right. You'll damage the 700R4 if you don't.

GM may still have a TH350 kickdown cable available, last time I bought a TV cable, it was quite cheap, $12 I think.
It is better to go with a specific kickdown/TV cable than one of the generic aftermarket "adjustable" ones in any case. Experiences with the aftermarket cables seems to be poor construction, imagine that.
