700r4 manual valve body?

is it worth converting my 700 to a manual valve body? and please dont bombard me with crap about the 700 quailty. there is a swap in the works, i am just wondering if in the meantime converting mine to manual is worth it. what benifits can i expect? what downsides?

I just ordered an Artcarr for my 700r4, But I had to because my exaust wont let me put it into 1st gear.
