From this point henceforth, I declare all transmissions problems null and void, and they are now extradited to the nearest junkyard. :D

Lol. That F^$king thing on the top is the reason i now have a 3/4 ton burb instead of my 94 blazer. And you think you made a rash decision to eliminate the problem....;)

Good choice, and i hope we both enjoy long, trouble free service from our 4l80e's......regardless of the vehicle that surround them:bow:

if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for that? my 700 just died and im lookin for another 700 to put into it... but if its not outragious... it would be d@mn nice to put one of those in there.

Past tense my friend, past tense.

Swapped, tuned, and officially awesome.

Yea its not a direct swap thats why I was confused and the 4L80E are not cheap best price I have found is $1200.00 shipped with a 12 month warrenty. Can get one from the dealer for $1950.00 with a 3yr/100,000 mile warrenty

damn bro. how sweet is it? i cant wait to get mine in. what does it feel like? any other mods you had to do besides hookin up the controller and such? what bout the t-case shifter, no cutting or anything or did it need some mods to work in stock hole?

Hope you got the proper t-case output shaft to go with that 4L80E.

T-case shifter needs to be lengthed by about an inch, gear selector rod needs to be lengthened by about 2.5 inches, crossmember issues need to be addressed along with cooler lines, bracket for gear selector ("L" shaped bar) needs to be moved back (which I just moved it back one bolt hole), and also make sure your torque converter will bolt up to your flexplate. I also found a sweet spot for the controller. Right between the kick panel and the e-brake bracket. Theres about 2 inches of space all the way up inside and if you take your dash off, you can run the wires up behind the guage cluster.

Also, the TCI controller is well worth the money. I can tune about anything on that trans.

can you get some pics of everything inside and out :) im going to run the stock computer for now, and then eventually probably get the tci controller.

I never got mine to die...

had a friend trying to sit on a console bump it into reverse while I was going 70 plus one day, thought it was a gonner, hell the ride was interesting though:crazy:

countless n-drops when I was young, pulled a few loads way over what I should have, stomped the gas at just about every light.. never completely killed it, I did take out the tourque converter though:D
