700r4 or is it a TH350 ? I.D. question..

Saw these transmissions & transfer cases for sale online,and I think the pair on the top of the photo is not a 700r4,to me it appears to be a TH350,look close,isn't there an aftermarket adapter between the transmission and transfer case to allow a TH350 to be used in place of a 700r4?.cant tell if there is a modulator or not,photo was taken at a poor angle..

Guy has both listed as 700r4/NP208's,but I think he is mistaken..

The lower one looks like a 700r4 but the upper one doesn't have the same lockup plug. Do 4L60Es use the VSS for lockup? Doesn't really look like a 350 or 400

upper is th350 . has the 2wd tail in it and the spacer to keep tcase in stock location and bolt in .

Good eye. I'm not used to seeing 350 turbos with transfer cases on them. But I see 700s in my d*mn nightmares

4L60E case is much like the 700, but it has the big connector with a lot of pins (same connector as 4L80E). The lockup 350 uses basically the same 4-pin connector as all 700s.

My bet is the TH350 is the one that works,and the 700R4 is the "junk" one..
