My truck has a 700r4 that i swapped out for the stock th350 that was in it. I was cruising along and it felt like my truck slipped into neutral, but it was still in drive. I gave it some more throttle and then it was just fine. It did this a couple more times on the way home until i got back and shifted into reverse.. then I didn't have any power.. forwards or in reverse. When I let it sit for a couple days it'll move, but just in first gear for a short time. The governor cap was leaking fluid. I am stumped, so hopefully someone on here has an idea. Thank you in advance.

I've had a 700r4 torque convertor do that before. All the bellhousing bolts were loose and the stator failed...very similar concern. the oil looked good and clean and the line pressure checked ok, but no or low drive. hth
