My 700r4 crapped out. So Im having it rebuilt. I only have a 305 TBI spinning it. Here is what i'm having it rebuilt with.

TCI-378905 Truck Master rebuild kit (includes shift kit)
TCI-376003 Corvette Servo
Probably a remote filter and temp gauge.

I already have the external cooler.

What else would you recommend for a mild upgrade. Not looking to spend much more money.

how much is this costing you? are you rebuilding it yourself or having a shop do it? i need to rebuild my 700R4, but i'm stuck on which route to go.

When I had mine done I went shop way because if you rebuild it yourselves and it doesn't work what do you do:confused: and I have no experience building automatics

I know a retired GM Mechanic. Im only paying him 3-400. depending on if there is any more damage on top of what we already assume. With parts thats around 7-800 total. Alot of people on here say get a good book and video and its a piece of cake. I dont have the time and place so Im paying someone. Otherwise i would be digging in myself.
