How do i remove the pump cover on a 700r4??

What do you mean? The front pump assembly?
The transmission has to be removed with the torque converter removed. You must remove the filter and the TCC solenoid and you can either use a pump puller or large screwdriver on the backside of the pump through the bottom of the case( carefully) that's about it.
