700r4 setup help...

i bought a new small block for my k5 earlier this month. it was originailly connected to a th350, but is now going to be joined to my 700r4. i know i need to get a new t.v. cable bracket, but do i need new carb linkage too? the qjet has the right peg to snap the t.v. cable end onto the throttle arm. im just curious if the cable geometry will differ...

thanks guys. cant post pics though, my camera turned into a chew toy last month.haha but onto my next question...anyone know where i can get a stock replacement OEM t.v. bracket online? i dont have time to search junkyards and every aftermarket bracket is "adjustable" and wants to use carb studs instead of carb bolts. i just want my setup stock for the time being, mostly because i know it worked right.haha any help is appreciated.
