Hey all!

truck in question is a stock 92 fullsize..there's a long rod coming from the frame rail, shaped like a shepherds crook, attached to a U shaped bracket on the transmission.

How is the rod secured? by a cotter pin, or a clip of some sort?

whatever is supposed to be there has rusted away apparently (gravel driveway) so the rod end is just sitting in the bracket, not really fastened, so it slips around, and the shifter stalk and PRNDL indicator can feel mushy.

the rod can't fall all the way out, but it pisses me off, and I sure can't find the hole for a cotter pin, so knowing what should be there will give me a direction.

Thanks!

The rod goes through a swivel style fitting and is held with a bolt from the side.
