700r4 swap to 400 shifter question.

Hey guys. Just swapped in a 400 after the 700r4 case broke. Question on the shifter. I can get the neutral safety switch adjusted to work in park or neutral but not both.

I left it adjusted for park at the moment, but would like to have both.

Also, is there a separate gate in the column for the three speed vs the 700s 4 speed?

The only way to make it work is to change the length of the arm so it meets both location in sweep between the detents.
As for the 3 to 4 speed, nope, the detent is in the transmission not the shifter.
The shifter just has gates that affect your shift
