700r4 swap?

Hey guys, thinking im gonna get rid of my th350 in favor of a 700, im sure this swap has been done before, does the transfer case cross member need to be moved? and what transfer case will work with the 700r4? will the 203 i have off the 350 work?

I can't help you with the tcase thing, but worst to worst tcases behind 700s are common as candy. You will have to move the crossmember a bit back as the tranny is an inch or few longer. So driveshafts might also change. Also keep in mind you will have to attach a TV cable as well. Get a newer model 700, 91ish. Has a better pump design. And just my thinkin, but dump that 203 scrap and find a 208, cheap. I have thought about swapping my th400 out for a 700, but I'm kicking a 4l80 around my garage as well. Choices choices
