700R4 TV cable angle

I just recently put an edelbrock performer tbi manifold and a holly Tbi spacer(2")on my K5. My TV cable is on a pretty good angle, Plus my tranny isnt quite shifting right. Can I adjust the cable or will I need some kind of lengthened bracket to correct this?? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I'd say you should probably modify the bracket to put it back to its correct angle and distance from the attaching point on the TBI. I think you are probably out of adjustment now so I don't think I would drive it much like that if at at all.
