I am in the process of swapping a 700R4 behind a 6.2 diesel (TH400 was slipping).

I know that the TV cable setup is critical. Does anyone have pics of the TV cable bracket on a 6.2? My 700R4 was behind a gasser (put in a low stall diesel torque converter).

Thanks,

adam

Would it not use the same type of connection that the detent on the TH400 used?

TH400's don't use a cable. They have electric kickdown.

Really? Wow... I'll have to check into that and see how it works, just for my own curiosity.

You sure you're not talking about the lockup in the torque converter?

TH400's don't have a lock-up convertor, NEVER DID. Trust me when i say the TH400 uses electric kickdown. TH350's have a kickdown cable and some have lock-up convertor.

Oh I believe you, I was just clarifying. :wink1:
