700r4 TV cable pressures?

They are all different depending on the year of the trans. I bought a book that list all the different pressures but like i said, there are many different pressures depending on the year.

You have the Bowtie Overdrives dont you? You need to call them for the pressures. The ones ryoken linked to are close, but if you are referring to setting up the TV cable, they will tell you the correct ones.

Ya I know, I just wanted to make sure I was close before I call them tomorrow. Otherwise I was going to be adjusting it tonight.

Ryoken, when you get the tranny they send you a bunch of papers that has that info on it. Just in order to do the test drive they want you to call them first to be sure the pressures are setup right. Unfortunately they dont give you references, you have to call them to see if you are close.

Mine were all pretty close to what they had, I just had to tinker with the TV a bit. If I had my papers with me I would tell you ballpark figures.

I'm kinda lucky, they are about 5 miles from me.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the hoops they apparently run you thru...

I'm sure he'll find out when he calls tomorrow...

Are you happy with yours? what stage did you get?

They are who I'm planning to use when the time comes.. Planning on a stage 2...

I got a stage 2 and a B&M 2000 rpm stall convertor. I wish I had gotten a lower RPM one but it will do for now

I am happy with it so far, but only put around 75 miles on it before head gasket go boom. Now I am going to test that 450ft-lb rating they have though, thats for damn sure.:wink1:

As far as hoops you have to jump through, it wouldnt be too bad if you have a couple days off during the week to do the job. It was a PITA for me cuz I am on the right coast, it was getting dark at 5pm, I got home at 415 and was doing it in my apartment parking lot. You are just supposed to call them after every step and make sure everything is good. In retrospect, I wish I had gone to GM and got a stock replacement, but only because I am so far away. It would be pretty bad if I had to ship it off for warranty work.
