I searched this forum, but couldn't find anything about the specific problem I am having:
My 4-3 detent downshift is way too late. It does not occur until WOT at speeds greater than 55-60 MPH, which can be a real pain in the ass. All other upshifts and detent shifts are fine.
Here is my set up:
-86 k5, 350 TBI engine
-BTO TV made easy kit, installed new TV spring w/ kit and new TV cable
-trany was rebuilt by PO (no idea what was done)
-4:10 gears with 33's
-main line pressure at idle in P/N is 80psi (is this too high?)
