700R4 with a 205

Will a 205 off of a th350 work on 89 blazer with a mechanical speedo? If not, what do I need to make it work?

In a brief answer, Yes. You will have to do one of two things to mate the 205 to your 700R4. One, install a Advance Adapters 700r4 output shaft in the transmission to give it the same stickout length of a TH350. Two, you can purchase a spacer that will go between the 700r4 and the transfer case adapter, again giving you the same stickout length you need. Do a search on this site. This topic has been discussed several time.
