I have a 4wd 700r4 in my dads truck that wont go over 35mph it just revs up if you try to go faster, it is in a 85 3/4 diesel pickup, i have seen the rebuild videos for $30 has anyone used one before or am i getting in over my head? I have rebuilt motors before just never a tranny, i checked the governor and its not bad, but the fluid is burnt /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

Rebuild time , it isn't going to be easy the first time , I would buy a tranny and try the rebuild on my spare time /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
