I just changed my tranny fluid and theres a coating of black dust all in the pan.I would guess this is clutch material.Is this normal for a 700r4?There was only a few very tiny pieces of metal in the filter.The dark places in the pan are indentions where the pump hits the pan not the material.

Pretty normal to have fine dusty type of material in the bottom of the pan,,it's the big chuncks you need to watch for
