will a 77 205 transfer case fit an 84 700r4? 4oo or 350 and if so how or what do i need to do? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif [email protected] What would the whole thing sell for(sm-465 10 sline adapter 205 tc 10spline flat front yoke fixed rear yoke crossmember front and rear shafts pedals coulmn bellhousing flywheel clutch linkage)thinking about sticking with the 700 208 setup.

I don't think it will bolt up to a 700, but there are adaptors. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Output shaft is too long. Advanced adapter has a repacement for $175 or less of you look around but you have to dissassemble the trans to put it in. In another post someone mentioned there is a spacer available for a direct bolt on - part number 7Q35A - FWIW. I dont know much more other than you will have to relocate your crossmembers and mod the driveshafts.

Yes a NP205 will bolt to a 700r. But you need an adapter from OffRoad Design for it to work. A NP205 will bolt to a th350 and a th400 with no problem.
