Ever heard the old saying that something that sounds to good to be true probably is?

****!:doah:

So now I have myself my very own set of Dodge M880 3/4 ton pickup truck rear springs. Should be whatever was on 70's and 80's Dodge 3/4 ton trucks.

These any use to me? They measure right around 52" eye to eye measured across the top of the spring. 5 leafs and an overload.

dead give away to non gm is the reverse wrap low bushing eye.

worst case use the guts and keep your main leaf and swap the rest in. seen this done before if the same width.

I used Dodge springs for the front of my SAS S10 Blazer. I also plan to use them when I SAS my 97 truck. The ones I used had the center pin moved more to the front. Helps to move the front axle forward farther, without the springs being as far out on the frame.

Need to get some specs and see how they compare in dimensions to a proper GM pack. If the center pin is close I might just bite my tongue and try and use them. Maybe pull a leaf out.

iirc the center pin is off center on the dodge springs by like 2 inches

Got them on the rear of the blazer. Well.... before I killed them. Spring center pin is 2" out of center.

Bone stock truck that just needs a suspension rebuild.

Worthless to me.
