How does this look to you guys? Worth $3500? (It has brand new 36" MT ATZ's, a Tilton starter and a Hurst shifter..)

It has a 350 and an automatic; what kinda tranny can I expect this to be? How about the t-case and axles? 6-lug, yes? This thing has 8" Skyjacker leafs, so it probably drives like ass? Generally how is the ride quality? Wheelbase around 110 inches? Anything else worthy of knowing? Thoughts?

How many of these (shortbed AND single cab - rare?) are manufactured; anybody got production #'s?

Thanks!

Also... the bed looks unique to me, see how it swoops down in the tail?

It looks like a hacked-together truck to me....

The wiring under the dash is probably an indication of how the entire truck was assembled.....careless and hasty.

Shortbeds are more desireable than longbeds, but I'm not sure that justifies the price by itself. I'd assume that almost everything is neglected and needs work. Everwhere I look on that truck, I see dollar signs.....

Around here you don't see a ton of shortbed 4x4's for sale. If that were a stock longbed 4x4, around here in that condition it would be probably a $1,250 to $2,000 truck, depending on how rusty it actually is. I'm not familiar with those tires but I'm sure the tires and rims had to set him back about $1,500. 8" lift is gonna be a bit rough of course. Is it all leaf spring lift or blocks out back. If it is all new springs that is costly and adds up.

The truck of course needs some work but the price isn't crazy high, but not so sure I'd give that much for it. Is it worth $2,500? Probably. Really hard to give much more of an opinion than that without inspecting it very closely.

For me, the hack to the front fenders would have to be addressed and of course the one pic shows the fender is in pretty bad rust shape near the bottom area where it bolts down.

I like it but I don't like the price.

As much as I'd love to find me a SWB of the pre-'73 years, I wouldn't pay that asking price. $2500 is probably the highest I'd pay for that, sight unseen up close and personal.

I like the vise-grip window crank. :pimp:

If you want a driver, then I'd keep looking. That's a project for someone who really likes shortbeds. If you want a project truck, I'd offer him $2500, but $3500 is a bit high even for CA.

TH 350 (3-speed, correct?) and NP 205 would be good news. Would that make it a D44 (pass. drop, flat-top knuckle?) front and a 12 Bolt in the rear? 4.10's?

Yes, it is by no means a mint condition truck. The thing that concerns me most is the rust. With wheel-arches looking like they do; how can you expect the frame and floorboards to be? But hey, it's a Cali coast truck! Oh, and did you notice the plug wire mess coming hanging over the frame? The paint job looks like a 30 minute job; hopefully there's not too much bondo to go with it?

Tires supposedly set the owner back two grand. I'm not familiar with the ATZ's, but those faux beadlocks have to go!

Does anybody make fiberglas bulge-ish fenders for these?

I think I'm gonna offer him 500 bucks. :D If he were to put it on some roller tires, what would be a good price? Damn, I don't need another rust bucket project - but this truck really appeals to me for some reason!

Haha, I didn't notice the vise-grip - classy! :D

Also, is this truck classified as a K10, K15, or what?

Looks tired, ridden hard and put away wet if ya ask me.

Who ever owned it doesn't really care about...much of anything on it. :(

That's probably true. It's no doubt it's in need of some TLC.
