First how much would you pay for a 1971 black rear seat in very good condition?

Seond, would a 1971 k5's rear seat fit my 1976 K5? they look they same but are the mounts in the same spots?

I *believe* #2 is the case, but I can't swear to it.

As for cost, one pays what one pays. I've paid $100 for seats or $40 for a set of three -- and the latter in better condition than the first.

*I* wouldn't pay more than about forty bucks, on the premise that I don't need them that badly :) If the color is right and the condition is good and you want it more, maybe you'll pay more, and that's okay.

Make sense?

Makes sense. see the thing is I just bought some black leather jeep seats for my K5, the rear bench seat I have is red. I have thought about getting it re upholstered but it just seems that option would be very spendy, I mean it just sounds expensive but then again I know nothing about auto upholstery... Any idea or round abouts what it would cost to get my rear seat re upholstered to match my front black leather seats?

LMC sells re-up kits for the old seats ... $150 for vinyl and $190 for cloth. Not leather, I grant, but...

I gather it's doable by the average joe, though I've not done it yet.
