looking for a locker for my stock 8 lug rear, I have a 14 bolt but do not want to swap in and lose the clearence. let me know what ya got. shipped to pa 17329 zip

Use of the 14FF axle shafts in the Eaton rear end will let you use the 14FF Detroit locker. Unless your talking about a Dana 60 rear axle? Which axle do you have?

I can get you a factory open eaton third (to weld) with 410s for 50 bucks plus shipping.

I have a Dana 60 rear that will work in your truck. Same pad width. 4.10s open and I have posi for it. Going 6 lug and don't need it.

Buy a Detroit for a 14FF and use it in the stock Eaton Carrier. Use your axleshafts from the 14FF and your set. A lot stronger axleshaft splines in the process too.

thanks for the advise the 14 has a factory locker in it so I guess I will just swap them in and hope it works out.

hold on... the what your calling the stock locker is a Gov-Loc unless it came from a CUCV. Not the same thing as a detroit... but you would want to research if it is a direct swap or not. The GovLock uses a different carrier than the open diff.
