I have a shot at a 72 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 350 and 4 speed.
What front axle can I expect to be in there? It has the huge hubs and blue hub knobs as far a I can tell from the photo.
The guy thinks that it is a dually rearend because he bought it with only 1 dually wheel mounted in the rear in the outer position. I told him that the truck is probably not a dually. The front has standard offset wheels and tires on it.
How rare is a 72 1 ton dually? I don't remember ever seeing a pickup bed dually from the factory. If it is a legit dually then it probably was a cab/chassis. The truck has a flatbed on it now. also the front axle doesn't have dually hubs.
