Guys thanks for the space. I’m new to the forum. I am building a 4WD 72 K5 Blazer. It need a complete cab floor pan with braces. I have checked every supplier that I can locate online. I have had one on order since January of this year & they have no idea when they will receive it. So my question is can you use a 4WD truck cab floor and modify the back end of it with what’s left of the original floor to fit the K5 Blazer. Just don’t have one to look at & figured someone has done this if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
David.

I used a truck floor when I replaced mine. The k5 piece was back ordered with no estimate on when it'd be in.

I believe I cut about 6-7" off the back side to get it to fit where it needed to be. I was doing the bed floor as well. I just put the new pieces in with the bolts through the mounts, then cut the floor where the step-up panel wanted to be.

There are some pictures in here.

Thanks for the quick reply. I figured it was doable. Just didn’t want to pull the trigger on a $500.00 floor & get stuck with it before getting some feedback. Thanks again!!!

i used a truck floor on mine also, the day i fished installing is when they came out with to correct blazer floor

It really depends on the seats you plan to use. The really big difference is where the passenger seat bolts to the floor. With the flip up seat you will have to red till the correct holes to line up with the rear seat brace. Other than that it should be almost identical iirc.
