I remember reading somewhere on here bout replacing the windshield frame on the first gens. Any info would be much appreciated

How much are you needing to replace?

The top section, sides or all of it?

Just finding one is the bigger challenge.

Here's a few pics of stuff I did fitting a truck firewall onto a blazer tub.

Found it in Michigan off of another board while gathering up other parts.

Look for northern trucks to have better frames than southern trucks. It seems that the heat down south shrinks the seals more and the frames rot more often. Mine has pin holes all down the driver's side, I have a frame from a guy in NY that I need to piece on there one of these days. I think I paid $375 shipped to my door (when I lived in TX). Finding one local will be fun.

windshield frame repl

the way vt does it is the ****.....did mine in no time
straight and true as an arrow.

i also agree that some of the northern rusty trucks have better
windshield frames that the southern trucks ive seen.

ive got some sides and corners and sections of windshield frames
if you wanted to patch something together
