A guy I know was just given a 72 Barn Door K20 Burb. The motor, trans and TC he is keeping. It has Eaton rear and D44 front. The glove box says the rear is a No Spin. Anyhow, the rest of the rig is open to offers. I'm not making anything off any sales, just trying to help some parts go to good homes. BTW, it has a 69 Grill. PM me if anyone needs parts and I will set up contact info.

I'd like to know more about the '69 Grille... :wink1:

Inner/Outer? NOS? Decent shape, or restorable....pics?? Price??

Feel free to forward my e-mail addy along to your friend.

The inner (plastic) is broken in numerous places. The outer (alum) is decent except the driver side outer edge has been mashed. I probably won't see him again till this weekend. At that point I will get contact info from him, maybe take some pics of grill.
I'm thinking of robbing the springs for my K5. Will 3/4 ton springs give me any noticeable lift, or just make it ride terrible? BTW, the OE motor was a 292! I didn't know they put 6 poppers in Burbs.

6 banger in a 3/4 ton does sound odd, that's Chevy for ya. I'm needing a couple of hot ticket items for my 71 semi restored blazer. Factory bucket seats and the tow hooks(someone needed mine).
Thanks,
Matthew

Haven't caught up with him yet, but I will. If he doesn't want them, I'm gonna get all the clutch linkage parts, just to have extras/trading material. BTW, according to the glovebox sticker, this rig HAD the front tow hooks, but they got lost when the snowplow was installed!
