72 extended cab 3 door...

Truck's nice, don't like the dash that much either. Snakeskin cheby emblems need to go as wel.

All that work and its still IFS, but i guess as a daily driver or tow rig that would work out fine anyway. Looks pretty cool though, i like it.

Shawn should chime in with some more history on that one , been here in AZ a long time , been posted on here years back as well . Ricks pickup parts had its hands on that one I believe .

Owner used to park that near our Gym when we still went ( I saw it last at Recker and Brown in 2007 ) .

Looks like a late 90s crew cab chassis, drivetrain, and interior. Very nice work on the exterior body work. Interior, eh, I don't care so much for.

EDIT: Just read the actual description in the for sale ad....98 chassis and drivetrain. I was close enough...

Interesting rig. Somebody spent a lot of money on it. However, I can think of better things to spend $31k on, especially a '98 drivetrain under a earlier body. I'm not certain I've ever seen a dual cab from that era before (& I'm pretty old).

Edit: I don't see in the ad where any of the drivetrain was rebuilt.

I'm thinking sectioned suburban with a truck bed. Look at the driver side photo, it's still a three door.

I think it looks good. Definately haven't seen any 71/72 crew trucks before.

I saw one at the Shades Of THE Past run in Pidgeon Fordge Tn. this past fall. It looked pretty cool. The guy told me he had 2 cabs, 4 truck doors and 2 suburban doors in it. It was a Quad cab. I took lots of photos because he used the late model a/c under the dash.
