Gold Medal!!!

Well deserved. It's been a long journey and a great outcome!

Hot Rod Dynamics radiator cover fit smooth over the Entropy Radiator. No adjustments needed. Was kinda weird, others who'd tried this combo had some minor fitment issues.

AJ, do you have any more pics of this radiator cover. Particularly near the upper mounting points? And a link to purchase might be useful too.

Edit: I found a link.

Thanks guys. Was fun getting out on the road, even briefly. The burn0uts were small and will get bigger as I tune the motor and do a couple of other things I have planned.

Brian - I'll get a few pics of the cover in the next couple of days

I saw you drive by today. Looks good. Sounds awesome!

Was taking it to get the front end aligned. Still running pretty rough. O2 sensor is too close to the end of the collector and needs more tailpipe behind it. Tune should dial in once I get the exhaust done.

UPDATE 5/18/15 - Still working the punch list

Got the truck back from alignment. Tracks nice and straight down the road. On the way back home, I picked the kids up from school. Showing up in the school parking lot with the truck elevated my kids to Rock Star status :saweet:....at least for the day.

With their new status, I figured there wasn't much better than to put them to work...washing off 6 years of storage dust and build grime.

Pulled out the front shocks. She's grown a little since the last shock pic. These are 12" travel Bilsteins...traded my 14" travels for them.

Got it out on the road and drove it to the shop for exhaust and tune today. Open headers, no plates, and expired inspection....and the cop that passed me on the highway didn't pull me over :woot:

Will post up pics of the exhaust as I get them.

that's cool AJ....I like that the kids are into it as well, makes for great family time!

...and for those of you who don't appreciate how long a 1st Gen Build can take...

Greg over here doing God's work...

Looking good AJ! Bet it feels great to drive it again!

Holy crap! The pictures of your daughter with the shocks really shows how the time flies!

Glad you are getting to drive it finally.

Thanks guys. Kids are anxious to get it fully drivable. It's still at the shop. They had a few cars to knock out before getting to my exhaust. But I will say that it's a good thing today isn't MPS because about all I can do truck related is clean the garage and order more parts :dunno:

5/29/15 - Exhaust in progress: Got the call that work had started on the exhaust. Stopped by to get some pics of the work in progress. I'll mostly let the pics speak for themselves

Should be done tomorrow (Saturday)

Um yeah...... So we're going to need some new video.

Teach your daughter how to hold the camera phone (sideways) and make her spend Saturday filming her goofy dad in a parking lot! :)

No progress today. My welder took the day off for his birthday. He's put in a couple of late evenings on my exhaust, so it's cool. That, and the weather sucked here today. So, I wouldn't have been taking it anywhere.

Here's the exhaust specs: 3" dual pipe into Magnaflows. All mandrel bends and butt welded. Welds are being ground down and sanded down.

Exhaust should be done and base tune set up early in the week.
