72 Rear Quarter

Rear quarters on my 72 Blazer are completely gone....someone told me that the 72 fleetside complete shortbed rear assemblies would work if cut down from the front. Has anyone done this?

What other options do I have???

No idea on that, but if you look at the side of a blazer and follow the body line from the nose to tail you will see it makes an arc across the body. I would think that the arc would be shaped differently on a short bed due to it being longer. Just a thought.
