Anyone done this? How far off are the cab mounts that would need relocating?

I was just thinking about putting the cab on the frame. Probably leave a flat bed behind the cab on the remaining frame. I was also considering a 93 4 door s-10 blazer body. Just can't decide.

I don't know for sure, but the 72 cab probably has a better chance of fitting than the 93. 
I'd have to assume the front two body mounts are the same between the truck and the blazer. It's the one at the back of the cab\blazer bed that I'd check. If you want I can measure the distance between the rear mounts and the one in the footwell. The assembly manual also have some measurements for the mounts if you have that to compare with.

Yeah I prefer to keep the body styles the same. It will also be a street legal truck with lights, so it would have to be plateable, so if I do this I am gonna stick with the same body style, 67-72. I'll do some measurements today and see.
