73 74 75 doors

Anyone know where I can get some doors [73,74,75]. I need those little supports that go in the back top of the door for support. Or maybe a template so I can fab my own.

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about. There is a cap on the door to keep water from going down inside it but it doesn't provide any support. Actually I may have those caps somewhere if you want them you can have them for shipping cost.

He's not talking about the caps. The 73-75 doors have reinforcments in there to compesate for the lack of a door frame. So when you pull the outside handle, this bracket ties all the inside door facets together. People need them when they convert half top trucks to full top trucks and have to cut thier newer doors.

IIRC mine have that piece since they are off a '75 K5, I also have the hard top and windshield frame. I have a post in the New England forum, I'd like to sell everything if possible.

There is a metal brace inside the back top of the door under those rubber caps. I am interested in those rubber caps also.

I made my own filler's, and the door is quite sturdy around the handle.

I'd love to find an original set of door caps (lower). The factory piece is fibreglass, but the LMC part is cheap plastic.
