Anyone know where I can get a 73-74 grill bowtie emblem? I cant seem to find an aftermarket producer of one and haven't came across any on ebay or the junkyard. Is there other years that will fit?

I've only seen one on ebay in many years.
Adhesive stick on thick foil type.
Havent seen them otherwise.
They came with the grill and is not identified with a GM part # in their parts books until later years from what I've seen
Your best bet might be an NOS Grille or a good used one if your willing to spill the cash.

Oh, didn't know that it was foil. I guess I never seen one in person so I just assumed it was like other emblems. I wonder if there are foil or vinyl aftermarket or something made for them? I thought I read somewhere that bowties from somewhere in the 69-72 era fit, but I could be mistaken.

@mrk5 might be able to make one?

I thought the 68-72 bow tie had a slight bend in the middle? You could probably get a bow tie from the 75-79(?) to fit with a little modification.

I managed to get a driver quality one from a junk yard years ago
i was lucky to remove it successfully.

You know LMC sells new ones now...for $159

I've thought about buying one in case they dont sell enough of them and stop production

Like to see one first but that's a good idea.

They come along NOS time to time on EBay.

My grill is an NOS think I paid $250 for it...mine was lightly scratched...but they were going for up to $600 before these remans came out. I bet those LMC grills look almost like the real thing...I bet that's one part that can be done pretty well...

That was 2011 for those emblems from Top Banana. And never heard of them till now.

I have two original grills. One with chrome I got for $20 and one without chrome, came on a front clip I purchased.
It's good to see a picture of them I never realized they were pretty much a sticker

That has to be the only two years on the old ones that were not a real emblem...kind of sucks that they did stickers at all
