LMC just started selling 73-74 repro grilles again after not having them for a couple of years. Mine showed up today. Not a perfect match to OEM but pretty close, well made and looks good. Bolted up just fine.

Get em before they're gone again.

Im lazy, how much was it? I hate my chrome, square tube grille.

140 bones. Lotta cash for plastic but the 75-78 that you can get for 40 bucks doesnt look right. And no place for the 350 or 454 badge. The repro 73/74 got that right.

Is there some bracketry involved that the grill bolts onto? Or does it bolt strait to the rad support. My ugly tube grille has angled brackets.

Yes and they differ from year to year. Can you post a pic of yours?

Im computer illiterate .Don't even know how to post pics, that's why I don't have an avatar pic, lol. I have a 74 k5 that has this ugly ass tube grille. My k5 is old school minus the flat orange paint job I did last year. I don't believe the mounts on the tube grille are factory, but who knows.Does lmc sell the mounts seperatly?

I remember the mounts being specific to the tube grills, mine was the round tube version...my 74 grille is garage art!

Yep, looks like an oem 73-74. The repros are silver but otherwise pretty honest. If mine looked like onetonbb's I probably would have stuck with it. Mine was a lot rougher.

I think my OEM grill was "chromed" on the front facing edges but these don't look that way.

I bought mine from AMD.Seems a little small all the way around.Looks great tho.I would post a pic,but don't know how.Was just under 200 bucks with the 350 emblem, and new plastic nutcert thingys. Ouch.

I have an OE 74 GMC grill hanging in my garage. It is chrome around the perimeter and the two upright areas. You might be right Chief!

Could you please take a photo and also of the markings? A part number would be great and any other markings that would help.

You still got that "yellow one"? If you do, does it still have the sticker in the glove box with the RPO codes?

yes, I have the truck still and I’m not sure about the codes in the glove box but I have the codes on the inner drivers side fender. I’ll snag a pic in the morning.

it’s Spanish Gold btw
