Alright guys I'm planning on putting new doors on my blazer this summer only issue is I have a full convertible blazer and Iam having a hard time finding doors for it. I plan on buying regular doors and cutting them but before that I would like to know what is the best way to measure them before I cut them.

You're lucky, you can use your old doors as templates. I'm trying to figure out the same thing for mine but I don't have any old examples to look at.

Find a body line or seam common to both doors close to the cut and measure it to death. Once you've got it mapped out, chop away.

If you do this, post up the info.

The full vert doors also have some extra metal in a couple places don't forget to weld this in

As far as I can remember basically where you cut the window frame off best to use your old door as a guide

When you remove the lower plastic cap you can see a horizontal plate tack welded in (plastic cap screws to it).

Guy on the Fresno craigslist has a 74 blazer body with doors...might be easier to drive up and get them. Hope it helps.

I've got a set of 75 full vert doors I no longer need. Was planning on cutting them into half doors. will save them for someone on here though

Would you mind posting some detailed pics of the areas a full door needs to be cut? Maybe w/ a tape measure in the background so we can get an idea of where to cut?

Edit: pics with the plastic caps removed.

If you were closer I'd buy them. :(
