These years have little to no bracing compared to others and this is what I came up with. Thought it might help someone out. 2x3 .188 wall

Looks good,I like the "steps" on the side. Mine has to have them so this is a keeper for Ideas.
 
do you have more pictures of this like before the steel was in after you cut the rocker away?
 
i'm planning something sorta like that, then put a rocker panel back on it and box it in on the back, sorta like a cab or single floor tub looks..i am doing it for strength(cuttin top out of my 80,possibly....got a line on a 74 model also tho) doubt it get drug over any rocks, mostly mud and firetrails and such..talkin to girls while camping almost as much fun as muddin it.....almost =)
 
do you have skid plates welded on under the floor boards to smooth out the bottom can you get a pic from a little farteher away and a better door jam pic how far in did you go.

The skids are going to happen once the Stak is in and belly tucked nicely. I used 2x3 so right at the curve of the corner is where the Jam molded in to the curve.Here are some befores...
