Anyone know where I can locate a 73-75 Window channel? LMC lists 76+ but not one for the full tops. I need the one at the back side of the driver's door. Customer has a K5 that the window keeps falling out of the track when he slams the door. I found that American Classic Trucks lists a replacement channel felt kit for trucks, thinking I could just cut it to the proper length for a 73 Channel but I'd prefer to replace the entire piece just in case the one we have is bent imperceptibly.

Thanks guys.

That is the part but that one is for a 67-72. I haven't found whether they would work in a 73.

I found this on their website: http://www.classicparts.com/1973-80-Door-Glass-Channel-each/productinfo/03-321/

Which looks like it is intended for me to rebuild the existing one. If that is the only option I have I will, however I am not sure that will work anyone. It lists, "1973-80 includes seal across top and down rear of door" Which a 73 doesn't have the top portion it is a frameless window, so that makes me suspect as to whether it would fit.

If you do, let me know. I NEED a Driver's side one. Passenger is fine, but if I have to buy a set I have to buy a set.

I wanted to update this in case anyone goes searching for the same answer. I ended up ordering this channel: http://www.classicparts.com/1973-80-Door-Glass-Channel-each/productinfo/03-321/

I simply took the portion that goes in the section of channel in the back side of the door on a 73-75 and laid it in/glued it in place with 3M Weatherstrip adhesive. I then cut it off flush with the end of the channel. It worked like a charm and fit like a glove. So for $11.99 it worked out quite nicely. I ended up having to modify the channel a tiny bit(bending it) to regain some adjustment but that was a simple task.

Here is a quick photo of the old piece of worn out channel next to the newly installed one:

My drivers side is completely missing, if anybody sources these or has some spares let me know. I might end up trying to modify a later year since the window is currently unusable.

Is this what you were looking for? The weather stripping?

It's on the top right of the following picture:

This place is local to me, and is AWESOME! It should have most everything you may ever need.

The piece I need is #10 in this diagram, but they don't have one for the 73-75s as far as I can find.

Its the metal window channel that bolts inside the back of the door that guides the window. I don't think anybody makes it anymore. I'm going to start calling junkyards.

I just downloaded their catalog, very nice selection. Thanks for the parts lead, shipping from Orange is nice for me in San Diego.
