73-80 fender emblems on 81-87?

Curious, as the 73-80 fender emblems are cooler looking vs 81-87, anyone know if the mounting holes line up between the two? I know, could use 3M double sided tape, but curious if mounting hole spacing match up, since they are in different locations. Anyone know or have access to both emblems that could confirm?

I'll have to measure my old 70's emblems and see what the spacing is. The location is different but I assume you want it further down where the 80's emblem goes.

Yep, if i was to do it, would install in the 80’s location.
