I got a chance to get a set of pre runner fenders but they are for a 73-80 and I want to run a 91 core support and 81+ hood. How are would this be to mate together or is it asking for to much?

I think it would take some work to get the older fenders to work with the newer hood and such but with the fenders being glass certainly do able.
As far as stock fenders go, it's really not doable. I currently have the fenders and core support removed from my '83 K5, to keep the neighbors (my dad, lol) happy, I stick on a pair of the '73-'80 fenders while I'm not working on it. They don't fit too well at all, especially at the rear. The hood and cowl are too wide back there.
Darn, I knew they were going to be to much trouble... I could get these for a song to.
