Wanted 73-83 Reg Cab Dome Light

Looking for a 73-83 dome light housing, lens, and socket. None of the reproduction companies actually sell the socket itself so I'm trying to find an original. This style has the screws offset to the corners of the light as seen like the top left one here:

I am sure I have several. Not sure of their condition. It has to be that style?

Ya because that's how it'll screw into the cab.

Did you check the book on (mind draws blank on company name) they make the door post and other things like on the "HELP" parts at O'Riley's the name is on the tip of my tongue.... Doorman that is it. Check the Dorman Products book.

Everyone sells the housing and lens but not the socket. Very frustrating

I am not familiar with that it looks like but is it just a socket you need? Could we improvise with the one under the dash for a Sliverado? Or a glove box light style? I can try to scrounge for some thing if I have a picture.

I don't have a housing or anything to take a picture of though, only an empty hole in my cab where it should be. I figured I'd ask if anyone had one sitting in a parts truck before I tried to adapt something else. My truck never came with one so I literally have no idea what it looks like.

Ok I have no yards near me but I can troll on internet looking for some thing. There is a guy on 1973-1987 Arizona Chevy Truck Parts FB that is a vulture. He buys the trucks dirt cheap and strips them and sells $$$ but refused to sell motor brace to transmission even when I said I'd pay shipping. Kind of a dick. If some one has what you need and can get me picture I'll look for you.

Umm no it's in the truck that just happens to be my first vehicle,and my dad also bought it new so it's not going anywhere or being parted out.
