Does anyone know of someone that makes a double shock hoop for the front of an 87 Chevy pickup? I think years ago Con fer made them but It doesn't seem like anyone picked the line after they went out of business. I'll probably end up making some, but because of time it would be easier to buy some. Anyone used another hoop that they modified to fit these trucks? If so got any pics of your set ups? Thanks.

*I think* Rancho also offered that hoop kit.

The problem is where to mount it to the axle with the steering arm in the way.

If memory serves, the lower mounts came off of the top of the "axle" knuckle, keeping out of the way of the steering arm. I'm in the process of putting crossover steering on right now so it wouldn't be an issue on this truck.

Yep, Rancho offered the triple shock hoop. I have a pair of these hoops in the storage shed. :D

Rancho long discontinued these hoops. Only places to find the originals now are on eBay which is where I got mine.

I'd like to see if anyone with a bender can make some. The bends and tolerances are pretty tight as they're not big at all.

I dont know abouth shock hoops, but i did this to my truck.

And have no problems with steering.

The Rancho triple hoop allows the 2 shocks (3rd one is rearward facing) to mount with the lower eyes right on the C's on the housing before the steering knuckles.
