Starting my 73 , questions about the doors . my doors are bad , I can rework them . I am thinking on getting 80 to 84 doors with power windows . I know they will fit . can I cut the window frame and weld in caps , plates

Yes. All square body doors will fit, the differences will be the interior door panels. Cutting the window channels off is the "proper" procedure for new replacement doors for a 73-75. I believe the rear vertical window track is different (not just cut shorter).
