The rear body mounts on my 73 K5 has a bracket that holds the lower cushion in place and also serves a mount for the rear bumper brackets to bolt to.
Mine are so rusted out and unrecognizable that I will need to make new ones since they are not available.
A photo of a good one would be great.

They just Hold the Nuts in place for the bumper bracket bolts. I’ll look and see if I have pics.
You could nuts.

Thought I had some when I painted them but this is the best I find from the parts manual.
Outlined in yellow, wraps around the lower cushion.

I replaced the mounts with polyurethane ones. With those the Bracket is not required. And you simply add nuts for the bumper bracket

I am doing a frame off and want to keep everything original...that was certainly an option.
But I managed to get a half decent one off a parts Blazer to measure for making a new one.
Thanks for your response.

It's nothing fancy. Should be easy to replicate.
