74 Blazer makes grinding noise and tires seem to skid when turning left

I forgot to say. Turn the wheels to the direction when the noise happens when you spin it with hub locked

Some good things to check have already been mentioned!

I would look hard at the brake lines and fittings, maybe put it on a lift/jackstands so it can be put in gear and apply and release the brakes while vehicle in gear, both in 4wd and not. Looking at sticking caliper and looking for leaks.

Look at leaf springs where supports and center pins are for any indication that leafs have moved forward, also check tie rod ends/balljoints for sticking when turning wheel. I know my 74 I believe it was the left front tire stuck out further than the right front which supposedly was a factory thing. try turning the wheel while it is in air and power applied in addition to the braking test described earlier.

How long have you owned this one? When was the last time you packed the wheel bearings? If it had been a while it you have not done it, I would tear it down and clean everything. Then replace seals and repack bearings. This will give you a chance to thoroughly inspect all the parts.

I finally had some time to look at the Blazer today. I jacked up the left front no wiggle in the wheel top to bottom or side to side. Turn the steering wheel full left and full right no play. Locked the hubs and did the same thing and everything seems fine.
Jacked up the right side and the wheel had a very slight amount of play top to bottom and side to side. It also made a creeping noise as I wiggled it. Locked the hub and full left and right same amount of wiggle. (Very slight)
No binding or noises while spinning the front tires.
Also checked the brake lines and leaf springs. Everything looks good.
I’ve only had the truck 10 months. Never packed the bearings or had the wheels off.
Do you guys think it could be the front right wheel bearings making the noise while turning left??
Thanks

I also applied the brakes while it was in the air they both released normally. Straight, full left and full right so I think I can eliminate any brake issues.

I think it is worth looking at the bearings at least on the right side. Since there is noise I expect a bearing or both will worn.
Never hurts to repack front bearing and add new seals.

When you move that right wheel with your hands, it's a little bit of play. When you turn with the full weight of the truck and momentum, that play will be magnified. I'm with Wes. Check the right wheel bearing, make sure the spindle is not scored, and repack.

Ok I had the bearings replaced on the front right wheel. Drove it home and it still does it. It’s not as bad but still not right. Jacked up the passenger side to see if the wheel has any play in it? It still has some top to bottom but not side to side? Also locked the hub and spun the wheel but now the axle/u-joint doesn’t turn on that side! It did before I took it to have the bearings replaced.
Lifted the drivers side spun wheel, locked hub and spun wheel. Axle/u-joint spun on that side like normal.
Any thoughts??
Thanks

Sometimes the locks don't slide right away. Try it a couple of times, roll the wheel back and forth,if off the ground, while working the lock. If it doesn't ever lock it may not be assembled correctly.
Also I don't like that there is noticable play, I am assuming in the bearings after redo.
This play is rock the tire in and out at top and bottom?

Yes the play is rocking the wheel top to bottom. No play side to side.
I locked the hubs turned it forward and backwards. Unlocked and turned the wheel forward and backwards. Locked the hubs again and still the axle/u- joint doesn’t turn!!

the locking hubs are new ? iirc your truck had auto hubs ? I think some investigation is in order. what make are the locking hubs ?
