74 blazer wireing ?

the previous owner cut all the wires at the fire wall and iam trying to figure out which wire is for gas gauge and temp? anyone know what color they are, when they come out of the fusebox? thanks.

I was just fixing some hacked wiring on my '77 today. Temp wire under the hood is green and the wire for the gas gauge is a faded redish, pinkish, brownish color. There is a dark brown wire with it's own grommet in the firewall that is for the factory tach. There is also a dark blue wire that appears to be for an oil pressure light, not sure on that one though because it also has a factory mechanical oil pressure gauge.

is the wireing the same on a 74 as a 77 ? iam going to work on it tommorrow after work. thanks .

Not sure if it's the same or not, but it should be close. GM generally doesn't switch wire colors around.
