right now I am running a diy shackle flip kit with 5 inch shackles and a b52 kit with 6 inch shackles on a 74 k10. trying to level my truck and with this set up my back is a little higher than front. my questions are what should I do?

add a longer shackle in front?

add an ez left or cut load spring as a lift in front?

or use a 4 inch shackle in the rear instead of the 5 inch?

trying to figure out the best way to go
thanks for any help you guys have

Depends on how much higher the back is than the front. I'd avoid longer shackles in the front since that will change the caster angle and might give you steering issues. Going from a 5" to 4" shackle in the rear would only lower it 1/2". I'd go for the ez-inch in the front, but again that depends on the height difference.

Don't put a longer shackle in the front, like rampage said, it will mess with your caster angle and it will also negatively affect your front u-joint angle. What condition are the front springs that you swapped in? They might just be old and sagged.

they are older springs but they Don't look like they are in bad condition

Add an inch in the front, or maybe remove an individual spring from the rear pack. I would leave the longer rear shackle in place, more flex. And you already went through the effort of 52in front springs to get the flex they provide, wouldnt make sense to limit the rear end in the name of lowering it.

Pics?

I don't really have any pictures yet. ended up cutting some over load springs to use as a zero rate spring to lift the front end. going to install them this weekend hopefully.

Just to help everyone out:

Shackle angle seems good, I wouldn't bother moving the shackle hangers

ok thanks that's what I was thinking now I just need to fishing bolting them in. and move on to fender trimming.

thanks for the help.

so had everything installed an works good flexes good and ride a lot nicer than with the 6 inch lift springs.

guess my next question is to run bump stops or not?
my stops would be really close to the spring because they or so close to being straight already.
