OK, Lets try this again, the last guy had me thinking I was getting some doors and never came through. Does anyone in the colorado springs area have any 74 K5 doors, some surface rust is ok but I already have enough patch panels to put on the truck, don't need anymore, Thanks

There is a much easier way to get good doors for a '74. Get some newer doors, all the way up to 1991 if you find em off a 'burb, Crew Cab or K5. Remove the rubber chunk from above the wing window on your current door. Remove the fibreglass cap above the door handle. Remove the piece under the fibreglass cap above the door handle. Cut the newer door so it matches the '74 door you have, install the sheet metal piece the little cap screws to. Install the cap, and the rubber chunk above the wing window and you're done.

You're very unlikely to find any good '74 doors for a K5 anymore...

I am sorry if I didn't get back to you fast, I lost my FIL this week and it was a hecktic week.
I got the pics today and should download them and shoot you an email.
The doors were not next to me and the pics were lost on my computer so I had to get you new pics.
Should have an email before the end of the day if you are still interested.

Not out here in CA.

HI I live in Fresno Ca and have a 74 blazer as my project. The guy i bought it from used crappy replacment doors and cut them bet the metal is super thin. So i was crusing pick and pul and ran into a complete 75. and only one of the doors had some minor rust in the usual spot the other one was clean(i was jumping for joy when i found them). snaged the tail gate and a after maket bumper also but i want to strip them and repaint but how do you go about pulling them apart? is there a trick to getting the widow out? It looks like part of the actuator for the widow is spot welded in. I was wondering if anyone has any experience in rehabing orginal doors?

I have done a resto on a 73 so yes I know how to take them apart.
You need to take the wing window frame out to take the glass out, or actually you need to unbolt the bottom of that piece to be ablt to get the glass out of the channel, nothing is welded, you can take it all apart, you just need to figure out the sequence.
If you need help PM me.
